  What is Explanation Text? Explanation text is a kind of text that explain to the readers how or why something happens. Generic structure of explanation text: 1. General statement General statement; stating the phenomenon issues which are to be explained. 2. Sequental explanation Sequental explanation; stating a series of steps which explain the phenomena. Trivia: -           Explanation texts often use how or why in question form as the title. For example how does rain occur?; Why does global warming happen?; and etc .
